Entry 109
Irritability spell. I'm going to have a tuna salad sandwich on rye bread, with some potato chips. Then I'm going to meditate for a while and hope that I can get some motivation back to do something fun / productive.
Meditating / mindfulness / stoicism is usually an internal battle against stewing and dissociating. If the goal is to get motivation to do something fun / productive, then it might help to think about doing the fun / productive things while meditating. The problem is that those fun / productive activities don't have the same... like, inspiring spark of joy when I'm in this negative emotional state. They are just dull, inert, flavorless concepts.
I like to add yellow or dijon mustard and cracked black pepper to my tuna salad.
